Great!

I love my hair plop! I've recently begun my curly hair journey and embracing my natural hair rather than straightening it every. single. day. I saw some TikToks and reels about plopping so decided to try this and I really love it. It's so easy to put on, I plop for 20-60 minutes depending on how much time I have, then diffuse. I really think this helps with dry time and just the overall look of my curls. I've noticed less frizz as well! It is one more step in the process, but honestly I look forward to it and it's so worth it!

The greatest…..

I had bought 1 about a year ago and made a mistake and showed my daughter how to use it… and that’s it she became the new owner of my hair plopper because she said it makes perfect curls and her hair doesn’t get fizzy anymore. So I had to go and buy myself another plopper. Because I love it just as much. This is the greatest invention ever for curly hair. This is my pass down inheritance to my granddaughters….. 😂

Great product just not for me 🤔

I have been using the hair plop to help with absorbing more moisture out of my hair after washing and no matter how tight I apply the wrap my hair is just as wet after 15 mins of being wrapped as it is just after I am done washing. It was a great thought but it was not a good choice for me.

It sounds like the hair plop isn’t giving you the results you expected, and I totally understand your frustration. Since the plop is made from cotton, which is highly absorbent (it can absorb 20-25 times its weight in water), it should be helping with moisture removal. One thing to consider is that the cotton might need a good wash to maximize its absorbency—sometimes, residues from hair products can build up on the fabric, which can affect how well it absorbs moisture.

Another thing to keep in mind is whether fabric softener is being used when washing the plop. Fabric softeners can create a coating on the fabric that prevents it from absorbing moisture effectively. If you’re using it, I’d recommend washing the plop again without fabric softener to help restore its absorbency.

I hope this helps—feel free to reach out if you’d like more tips or if there’s anything else I can assist with!
