I am FLOORED by the difference the plop, gel, and satin sleeper makes with my curls!! The Perfect Pair (Gel + Plop)
This gel is wonderful! Works on both my post-menopausal curls (from 3b to 2b curls) as well as my granddaughter’s 4b curls. Hair plop works wonderfully too! Found for us, best results achieved after 35-50 minutes of being on the head.
I have had the product a bit over a week. I have used it approximately 4 times. Finding the perfect amount is a challenge. For the most part, I like the definition of my curls. However, they seem fly away. Not necessarily frizzy, just fly away. I have also noticed that on wash day, my hair feels a bit straw like and it never has before. I am concerned with it over drying my already naturally porous dry hair.

We love hearing how your curls are responding! ✨ Our Hydra Hold Gel is designed to create a strong cast that locks in definition, but if too much is applied it can sometimes feel drying, especially on porous hair. A few tips: try using a little less product, keep hair very wet when applying, and scrunch in a few drops of our Miracle Moisture Oil (or your favorite lightweight oil) once your curls are fully dry to soften the cast and tame flyaways. It may take a little experimenting to find your perfect balance, but once you do, you’ll absolutely get the definition without the drying feel.
