Celebrating Four Years: A Journey of Growth, Connection, and Giving Back
What an incredible feeling to be celebrating our fourth anniversary today! It feels like just yesterday we started this journey during covid, while pregnant, and working as a creative director… and now, here we are —surrounded by the love and support of our amazing curly hair community. We can’t thank you enough for the role you’ve played in making these four years so special.
When we first launched MoonstoneSeven, we had one clear goal in mind: to create a brand that not only offers quality products but also builds a community that truly embraces the beauty of curly hair. Four years later, that mission has grown stronger, and we're more dedicated than ever to serving you and your curls.
Looking back over the past year, we are filled with gratitude for all we've accomplished. From adding new products to our line to hearing your inspiring stories and feedback, this year has been a time of growth and deepening connection. We are so proud to say that our family of curly-haired individuals continues to expand, and with each new member, we build a stronger, more supportive space.
Some highlights from this year include the launch of our new gel and oil—two products that we know you’ve been waiting for! These additions have been a hit, and we’re thrilled to see them become staples in your curly hair routines. With five products now in our lineup, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and grateful for your feedback and loyalty. And it’s just the beginning! We cannot wait to continue growing the line and bring even more products to support your curly hair journey.
In addition to our product growth, we are beyond excited to share that this year The Satin Sleeper has joined The Hair Plop as a registered trademark! The Hair Plop was officially registered in 2023, and now, in 2024, we’re thrilled to see The Satin Sleeper become a part of our growing list of trademarks. These milestones are a huge achievement for us and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire community.
But it’s not just about the products—it’s about the people. This year, our community has continued to show up, inspire us, and support one another in incredible ways. From sharing tips on how to care for curly hair to showing off your results and tagging us in your posts, every interaction reminds us why we do what we do. We’re more than just a brand—we’re a family.
In addition to our growth as a business, one of the things we are most proud of is the launch of MoonstoneSeven Gives Back. Through this initiative, we’ve worked to find ways to give back to our community. Whether through volunteer opportunities or supporting local causes, we’ve loved seeing how this has brought us all closer together. As we head into our fifth year, we’re excited to explore even more ways to give back and make a positive impact.
